This 2004 Western Star 4900 FA was ordered new by Null's Towing in 2003.  The truck was factory double framed, with a wheel base of 313".  It's powered by a
475 HP C-15 Cat backed by an 8LL Trans.  It rides on 46,000 pound full locking rears on Hendrickson Primaax air ride, and a 16,000 pound steer axle.  The
chassis originally had a 45 ton slider on it.  In 2012, the 45 ton slider was sold, and a 40CS was ordered to replace it.  The chassis currently has 94,331 miles on
it.  The back end is a 40CS with 2 main 40,000 pound winches, and 2 auxiliary 15,000 pound winches.  The 3 stage boom gives the truck 25' of reach past the tail
board when the boom is slid to the rear of the truck.  The extendable rear outriggers give the truck incredible stability when working at an angle, or winching off
the side.  Roll up doors on the tunnel box increase operator safety, allowing the driver to see traffic, and be seen by approaching vehicles.  The truck has a
proportional remote allowing the operator to feather all functions while standing at a safe vantage point.  The 4 stage short axle lift provides 150" of reach at full
extension, but sucks in to 76" retracted.

This truck was able to pick up a truck with 24,000 pounds on the steer axle.  By adjusting the air pressure in the tag axle, the tow truck was able to have 60,000
pounds spread evenly on the tridem, and still maintain 10,000 pounds on the steer axle.  The tag axle and axle lift can be removed in approximately 10 minutes
for extreme recoveries.  The axle lift can also be used without the tag axle.  The truck comes with all forks pictured.  Hand tools will be removed prior to sale.  The
current mileage is 94,XXX, and is subject to change since the truck is still in service.  The asking price is $335,000.00 with the tag axle, $320,000.00 without the
tag axle, and the truck is available for immediate delivery.  Empty weight is 45,000 pounds.  The truck is currently stationed at Null's Towing in Cochranville, PA.
